vieWTerra MMO comes into reality!
VWORLD is currently testing the brand new proprietary server solution it has been developing most recently, and which already allows players to interact in game on the entire surface of its virtual planet Earth to be build anew. First alpha tests were the occasion to verify our clusterized server was particularly stable with a -for now- limited number of players, and was able to support players on a truly grand scale terrain: our testers indeed enjoy the unique opportunity of seeing one another from a very far distance, whether they are progressing on the ground, in the air or under water, and they are now able to chat in game in order to lead group explorations of their favorite spots. Our goal is of course to put in place a server solution which would ideally match the qualities of our terrain solution.
For your viewing pleasure, have a look at our first in-game video, available in high resolution or low resolution.
VWORLD will be present at the Imagina 3D Community Event taking place in Monaco next February 4-6, 2009.
