VWorldTerrain is a technology devised for 3D terrain simulation in real-time.

First algorithms were written in 1996, and the technology has never ceased evolving ever since. It has already been used in the following fields:

Video games:

Speed Demons (PC motor race - EMG/ Microïds - 1998)

Speed Demons
Dark and Light (MMORPG - NPCube/FARLAN - 2006)

Multimedia: Edutainment CD-ROMs:

Eingana Act 1 (EMG/MSat “Fnac Golden Arrow" 2002)
Eingana Act 1.5 (MSat/Anuman)

Eingana 01 Eingana 02

Advanced technology research:
- joint R&D program with the CEA (the French Atomic Energy Commission) in Grenoble, France.

Products using VWorldTerrain innovative concept have made a name:
Eingana: “the whole Earth in real-time 3D on two simple CD-ROMs!”
Dark and Light: “the largest MMORPG you’ve ever seen!”

In development :

On-line game project currently in development based on the vieWTerra Platform:
vieWTerra MMO
("Welcome to your New World!" - VWORLD - 2006-2009)

vieWTerra MMO 01 vieWTerra MMO 02 vieWTerra MMO 03 vieWTerra MMO 04 vieWTerra MMO 05

As it constantly integrates new features, VWorldTerrain offers a wide range of potential applications in diverse fields, such as:

Video games (flight simulators, generation of virtual worlds: real-time 3D rendering mixed with computer graphics…)
Multimedia, education (edutainment products: interactive atlases, planet viewer CD-ROMs)
Geography, town planning, tourism, geospatial technologies…(geographic information systems, town and country planning projects, location services, Internet navigators, real-time flight paths, GPS visuals…)
